Playtime

It makes my heart so happy to see these boys getting along, playing together and loving on each other. A friend of our gave the boys this farm set a while back. It has John Deere tractors, animals, barns, farmers and fence sections so they can build a mini ranch. David and Max love working together to set up the whole spread. It easily keeps them entertained for an hour.

How cute is it to have all three of my boys playing together??

Titus did as much sleeping as he did playing. :)

Titus {7 weeks}

My sweet boy is 7 weeks old already. Where did the last 7 weeks go?! Geez. Kids grow up tooooo fast.

He holds his head up very well now and has started grasping at things. He never holds on for long, but he likes the challenge of unclenching that teeny fist and grabbing on. He's picking up on baby babbles now. His little gurgles and goo's are just precious. He is a pure joy to have around. Most of the time he is a very happy guy. He still prefers to be toasty warm, but doesn't need to be swaddled up tight. He'd be just as happy with extra thick socks on and a blanket stretched over him. His favorite things are tummy time and bath time. It's very weird for me since David and Max hated both as infants. This boy would splash and kick in the tub until he was all wrinkly and prune-like. And tummy time! Oh, how he loves tummy time! He'd be thrilled if I let him spend the day on his tummy. I know he'd much prefer to sleep that way too, but I don't feel comfortable letting him so we try to do everything we can to make back sleeping appealing to him.

Brotherly love

David sat down to rub Titus' tummy so he would stop being sad.
(and it worked!)

Santa Babies

I picked up my new diaper covers yesterday from Wylie Clothworks. How cute are they??

What a cool little dude

Where did my chunky baby go?
He looks like a big boy now.

There's the chunky baby!

This is what you'd call a post-nursing
milk coma. :)

Christmas spirit

We finally put up some Christmas decorations and made our house look all festive-like. I wasn't going to because it just felt like too much to keep the boys out of, but Christmas lights are just so fun that I couldn't help it! We put the boys to bed last night, turned on the Giants/Cowboys game and got to work.

This year's ornament

The finished product

The boys just stood and stared for the
longest time this morning. So cute!

Cheesy Potato Soup

1lb bag frozen shredded hash browns
1 can cream of celery soup
1 can cheddar cheese soup
1 medium onion diced
2 26oz cartons chicken stock or broth
1/2lb carrots, chopped to your liking
4-5 stalks of celery, chopped
2 cups cubed ham
2 cups shredded cheese
3 tablespoons flour
1 cup of milk

Place hash browns, soups, chicken stock, onion, carrots, celery and ham in crockpot. If needed, add enough water to cover hash browns. Cook on low 7-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.

Turn the temp up to high. Mix flour and milk in separate bowl then add to crockpot. Mix in shredded cheese and stir well. Cook another hour and serve.

A quilt for Titus

UPS dropped off a very special package at our house today. My grandma sent a quilt for Titus. Not just any quilt though - this is a homemade, took-her-time, hand-stitched-with-love-for-a-great-grandchild quilt. Priceless. I pray that when Titus grows up he thinks it's as special as I do.
