Long time no blog, huh? Here's a little photo slideshow of what we've been up to (minus pictures of when we had the flu. No one wants to see that.).
Lately, the boys have gotten very....creative. Here they were using an entire can of coffee grounds as dirt for their trucks. I wasn't as thrilled as they were. I had to scoop nearly $10 worth of wasted coffee off the floor.
Titus got cuter. If that's possible.
The boys are starting to really love brother bonding time. They love holding Titus and watching TV like this on the couch. So sweet.
We've been sick. Like really sick. Non-stop sick. I can't wait for cold and flu season to end. I'm tired of laying on the couch and watching Jake and the Never Land Pirates.
Max is TWO now! His birthday was a Sunday so we went to church in the morning then came home for lunch. Daddy laid out Max's surprises on the table so he could have them as soon as he got home. He got a Transformers costume and a Thor action figure.
Ah, Valentines Day. What a good one. David celebrated with his little friends at church that Sunday. He was so excited to give his friends Valentines. It took about a half a century to fill out all the cards for his classmates because he had to pick each individual card for each individual person. And then he started on the friends, cousins, aunts and uncles, mongas and papas outside of church! Yeesh. Three boxes of valentines later, we were finally done. He was so happy to go to church that morning. He was even more excited to get home and open all the cards from his friends. We looked through the entire bag at least a dozen times over the next week.
I had a super Valentine's Day too. I got a Keurig coffeemaker. I'm so blessed to have a husband that truly knows my heart. While chocolate is yummy and flowers are nice, it's coffee that truly makes me swoon. Just opening the box and seeing this beauty made me weak in the knees. And that first cup! Heavenly!!
Titus got cuter. Again. If that's possible.
The boys are starting to have verbal fights now. It's pretty cute. They both get their little minds made up and they go at it. It's really funny to hear the conversations they have now. This picture came from a TV debate. Max was firmly planted in the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse corner while David was laying out his case and making an argument for Jake and the Never Land Pirates.
Mama turned on Handy Manny.
I've got a Pinterest obsession. It's bad. I could easily lose hours of my day to browsing pins. Some good comes out of it too....like these patched pants. Take a holey pair of jeans and turn them into monster face jeans. David LOVES them.
Many a day has been spent just like this. Jammies, TV and snuggles. We have had 3 cases of the flu, 2 colds, 1 viral upper respiratory infection and a trip to the E.R. with 2 boys with bronchitis since my last post. See why I haven't blogged much?
We had a surprise baby shower for one of my friends. I made these baby booties out of a ketchup cup, a cotton ball and a kleenex then filled them with M&Ms. Darling, right?
The boys are borrowing a Nerf gun from a friend. They love it. On any given day, you can find them chasing each other with it or teaming up to launch darts at bad guys. I've found many stray darts just like this one.
Lastly, I leave you with Titus. He is now a sturdy 17+ pound, smiley, bumbo sitting, 4 month old. And he is cute. Seriously cute. Dangerously cute.
